DESIGNED AROUND THE CAR: BMW M3 G80 × FACEWHEELS FW-R01 19" / 20"
The BMW M3 G80 is defined by a compact performance-sedan shape widened by muscular arches and an unmistakably aggressive front end.
For this build, FACEWHEELS FW-R01 custom forged wheels were specified in White, with a 19 × 9.5J front / 20 × 10.5J rear fitment.
The objective was not to overwhelm the original design. It was to give the vehicle a clearer stance, stronger wheel-to-body proportion and a finish that feels intentional from every viewing angle.
PORTIMAO BLUE METALLIC × WHITE
The relationship between the Portimao Blue Metallic bodywork and the White wheels establishes the visual direction of the complete build.
Portimao Blue Metallic gives the M3 a vivid performance-focused foundation, shifting between saturated blue and cooler metallic highlights across the widened arches. White creates a bold motorsport contrast against the body and makes the wheel structure immediately legible from every angle.
Changes in light reveal different parts of the combination. The bodywork gains depth along the shoulders and rear quarter panels, while the bright wheels remain clearly separated from the blue paint, black aero components and dark tire sidewalls.
FACEWHEELS FW-R01 — SCULPTED FOR DEFINITION
The FACEWHEELS FW-R01 uses ten slender spokes with a subtle directional sweep, creating a racing-style pattern that emphasizes lightness, brake visibility and technical precision.
That geometry gives the wheel a clear identity at a distance and more detail at close range. The design remains open enough to preserve depth around the brakes, while its transitions create a strong connection between the center and the outer rim.
Rather than acting as a separate decorative element, the wheel introduces structure beneath the body and gives the lower half of the vehicle a more deliberate technical character.
19 × 9.5J FRONT / 20 × 10.5J REAR — PROPORTION WITH PURPOSE
The 19 × 9.5J front and 20 × 10.5J rear stagger follows the G80's performance proportions and gives the rear axle greater visual depth.
Diameter and width work together here. The wheel fills the arch with the correct visual scale, while the tire remains an active part of the composition instead of disappearing beneath an oversized rim.
The result is a fitment that looks considered from the side, front three-quarter and rear three-quarter views.
WHITE MAKES EVERY SPOKE VISIBLE
The White finish gives the FW-R01 an immediate, graphic presence.
Direct light emphasizes the clean edges and gentle curvature of each spoke. In shade, the openings around the blue brake hardware become deeper, allowing the fine structure of the wheel to remain readable without relying on extra decoration.
The finish also makes the design easier to read in motion, where the white spokes create a crisp rotating graphic beneath the Portimao Blue Metallic body.
BUILT AROUND THE BMW M3 G80
A successful wheel package is defined by the complete relationship between diameter, width, spoke shape, brake clearance and the position of the wheel within the bodywork.
For this BMW M3 G80, the FACEWHEELS FW-R01 setup was selected to support the vehicle's existing proportions rather than replace them with a generic visual formula.
The completed stance feels integrated because the wheel design, finish and sizing all respond to the same body. Nothing appears isolated from the vehicle around it.
