The Lotus Emira is defined by compact mid-engine proportions, pronounced rear haunches and an unmistakably low sports-car stance.
For this Seneca Blue build, FACEWHEELS FW1014 custom forged wheels were specified in Gloss Blue, with a 20 × 8.5J front / 20 × 10.5J rear fitment.
The objective was not to overwhelm the original design. It was to give the vehicle a clearer stance, stronger wheel-to-body proportion and a finish that feels intentional from every viewing angle.
SENECA BLUE × GLOSS BLUE
The relationship between the factory Seneca Blue bodywork and the Gloss Blue wheels establishes the visual direction of the complete build.
Yellow brake calipers remain clearly visible through the blue spokes, creating a deliberate high-contrast performance detail.
Changes in daylight reveal different parts of the combination. Raised spoke surfaces catch more light, recessed areas remain darker and the body color continues to frame the wheel without losing its own identity.
FACEWHEELS FW1014 — SCULPTED FOR DEFINITION
The FACEWHEELS FW1014 uses a sculpted split-spoke layout that combines open brake visibility with strong directional movement.
That geometry gives the wheel a clear identity at a distance and more detail at close range. The design remains open enough to preserve depth around the brakes, while its transitions create a strong connection between the center and the outer rim.
Rather than acting as a separate decorative element, the wheel introduces structure beneath the body and gives the lower half of the vehicle a more deliberate technical character.

The staggered 20 × 8.5J front and 20 × 10.5J rear setup follows the Emira's mid-engine proportions and gives the rear axle greater visual authority.
GLOSS BLUE REVEALS THE FORM
Gloss Blue changes naturally as light moves across the wheel.
Direct light emphasizes edges and raised surfaces. In shade, the design becomes deeper and more unified. This variation allows the wheel to retain its dimensional character without relying on excessive decoration.
The finish also makes the design easier to read in motion, where the spoke pattern and the outer edge form a clear graphic relationship with the body above them.
BUILT AROUND THE LOTUS EMIRA
A successful wheel package is defined by the complete relationship between diameter, width, spoke shape, brake clearance and the position of the wheel within the bodywork.
For this Lotus Emira, the FACEWHEELS FW1014 setup was selected to support the vehicle's existing proportions rather than replace them with a generic visual formula.
The completed stance feels integrated because the wheel design, finish and sizing all respond to the same body. Nothing appears isolated from the vehicle around it.
