DESIGNED AROUND THE CAR: TESLA MODEL 3 PERFORMANCE × FACEWHEELS FW1019 19"
The latest-generation Tesla Model 3 Performance brings sharper bodywork, a more focused stance and a distinctly technical character to Tesla’s performance sedan.
For this build, FACEWHEELS FW1019 custom forged wheels were specified in Hyper Silver, with a staggered 19 × 8.5J front and 19 × 9.5J rear configuration.
The intention was to reinforce the car’s performance identity while maintaining the visual precision of its updated exterior. The finished combination feels clean, purposeful and fully integrated with the Model 3’s proportions.
QUICKSILVER × HYPER SILVER
The Quicksilver exterior establishes the visual foundation of this build.
Its multi-layer metallic character shifts naturally between cool silver, soft grey and subtle blue-green tones as the surrounding light changes. Rather than introducing a contrasting wheel color, the Hyper Silver finish develops the same tonal direction with a brighter and more reflective surface.
This creates a controlled tone-on-tone combination. The body remains the dominant form, while the wheels introduce sharper highlights around the lower half of the vehicle.
Under direct light, the wheel faces become bright and clearly defined. In softer conditions, the finish settles into the Quicksilver bodywork and allows the spoke geometry to create the contrast.
FACEWHEELS FW1019 — TECHNICAL DETAIL WITH A CLEAR IDENTITY
The FACEWHEELS FW1019 features a directional five-pair spoke structure with elongated relief openings integrated into the design.
These openings reduce visual weight while creating an additional layer of depth across each spoke. The design appears clean from a distance, but reveals more intricate forged detailing when viewed closely.
The spokes extend confidently toward the outer rim, increasing the perceived diameter of the wheel and establishing a stronger visual connection between the center section and the tire.
Its open architecture also keeps the braking system visible, supporting the technical character expected from a Model 3 Performance.
19 × 8.5J FRONT / 19 × 9.5J REAR — A STAGGERED PERFORMANCE PROPORTION
The 19 × 8.5J front and 19 × 9.5J rear configuration introduces a deliberately staggered proportion.
The wider rear fitment gives the vehicle a more planted appearance, while the front remains visually precise and responsive. Together, the two widths establish balance from the side as well as from front and rear three-quarter views.
The 19-inch diameter also preserves a meaningful tire profile. This keeps the wheel-and-tire package visually complete instead of allowing the rim to dominate the entire lower section of the vehicle.
The result is a purposeful stance that complements the Model 3 Performance without appearing oversized.
HYPER SILVER REVEALS THE FORGED GEOMETRY
Hyper Silver gives the FW1019 design a crisp and highly legible surface.
Light follows the raised spoke faces and defines their edges, while the relief openings and recessed areas remain darker. This difference in reflection makes the wheel’s layered geometry visible without requiring multiple colors or contrasting painted sections.
The highly reflective visual character also works naturally with the clean glass surfaces, lighting details and metallic Quicksilver bodywork of the Model 3.
In motion, the alternating highlights across the paired spokes create a clear directional pattern while preserving the wheel’s refined appearance.
BUILT AROUND THE TESLA MODEL 3 PERFORMANCE
A successful forged wheel package is defined by more than diameter alone. Width, spoke architecture, brake clearance, wheel position and tire proportion must all work with the individual vehicle.
For this Tesla Model 3 Performance, the FW1019 was configured around the car’s dimensions and visual balance.
The staggered widths strengthen its stance, the open spoke arrangement supports its performance character, and the Hyper Silver finish builds a direct relationship with the Quicksilver exterior.
Every element contributes to one complete composition rather than appearing as a separate aftermarket addition.
