DESIGNED AROUND THE CAR: TESLA MODEL Y × FACEWHEELS FW1024 20"
The first-generation Tesla Model Y is defined by a clean body, a smooth roofline and broad uninterrupted surfaces that place strong emphasis on wheel proportion.
For this build, FACEWHEELS FW1024 custom forged wheels were specified in Satin Bronze, with a square 20 × 9.5J fitment.
The objective was to introduce greater technical detail beneath the minimalist body while giving the car a wider and more deliberate stance. The wheel package complements the modified exterior details without overwhelming the original shape.
SILVER EXTERIOR × SATIN BRONZE
The relationship between the silver exterior and the Satin Bronze wheels establishes the visual direction of this build.
The body presents a cool metallic surface that changes with the surrounding light. Satin Bronze introduces warmth below it, creating a clear contrast while remaining sophisticated and controlled.
In direct sunlight, the silver body becomes brighter and the bronze spokes reveal warmer highlights. In shade, the exterior takes on a deeper grey tone while the wheels become darker and more restrained. That natural variation keeps the combination visually active from different angles.
FACEWHEELS FW1024 — TECHNICAL DETAIL FOR A CLEAN SILHOUETTE
The FACEWHEELS FW1024 is defined by an intricate multi-spoke design with branching transitions and a strong visual connection between the center section and the outer edge.
On the Model Y, that complexity provides a deliberate contrast to the smooth side profile. From a distance, the wheel creates a precise and energetic outline. At closer range, the layered spoke structure reveals additional depth around the hub, brakes and recessed surfaces.
The design introduces detail exactly where the body is at its cleanest, giving the lower half of the vehicle a more technical and individual character.
20 × 9.5J — A SQUARE FITMENT WITH PRESENCE
The square 20 × 9.5J configuration maintains consistent proportions at all four corners and suits the balanced architecture of the Model Y.
The 20-inch diameter gives the FW1024 enough scale to fill the arches and display its detailed spoke pattern clearly. The 9.5J width creates a more planted stance while keeping the tire visually connected to the body.
Viewed from the side, the wheel diameter works naturally with the height and length of the vehicle. From the front and rear three-quarter angles, the width gives the car a stronger visual foundation.
SATIN BRONZE — WARM CONTRAST WITHOUT EXCESS
Satin Bronze gives the FW1024 a rich metallic character without the glare of a highly polished surface.
Light settles gradually across the spokes, highlighting raised edges while allowing the deeper sections to remain visually grounded. The finish makes the layered design easier to read and emphasizes its depth.
Against the silver exterior, the warm bronze tone creates separation without feeling disconnected. It also complements the dark glass, black trim and modified rear details, bringing the complete exterior together as one composition.
BUILT AROUND THE TESLA MODEL Y
A successful wheel package depends on more than selecting an attractive design. Diameter, width, spoke geometry, finish and the position of the wheel within the bodywork must all work together.
For this Tesla Model Y, the FACEWHEELS FW1024 setup was selected to add detail and stance while preserving the clean character of the vehicle.
The multi-spoke design, square sizing and Satin Bronze finish all respond to the same body. Nothing appears isolated from the vehicle around it.
