DESIGNED AROUND THE CAR: TOYOTA ALPHARD 30 SERIES × FACEWHEELS FW1041 20"
The Toyota Alphard 30 Series is defined by a tall, formal silhouette and a highly detailed luxury-van design.
For this build, FACEWHEELS FW1041 custom forged wheels were specified in Hyper Silver, with a 20 × 8.5J fitment.
The objective was not to overwhelm the original design. It was to give the vehicle a clearer stance, stronger wheel-to-body proportion and a finish that feels intentional from every viewing angle.
CHAMPAGNE × HYPER SILVER
The relationship between the champagne-toned bodywork and the Hyper Silver wheels establishes the visual direction of the complete build.
Hyper Silver brightens the lower half of the vehicle and connects naturally with the Alphard's extensive chrome detailing.
Changes in daylight reveal different parts of the combination. Raised spoke surfaces catch more light, recessed areas remain darker and the body color continues to frame the wheel without losing its own identity.
FACEWHEELS FW1041 — SCULPTED FOR DEFINITION
The FACEWHEELS FW1041 uses an intricate mesh pattern that builds visual depth through multiple intersecting spoke lines.
That geometry gives the wheel a clear identity at a distance and more detail at close range. The design remains open enough to preserve depth around the brakes, while its transitions create a strong connection between the center and the outer rim.
Rather than acting as a separate decorative element, the wheel introduces structure beneath the body and gives the lower half of the vehicle a more deliberate technical character.
20 × 8.5J — PROPORTION WITH PURPOSE
The 20 × 8.5J square setup gives the Alphard a composed stance without disrupting its comfort-focused proportions.
Diameter and width work together here. The wheel fills the arch with the correct visual scale, while the tire remains an active part of the composition instead of disappearing beneath an oversized rim.
The result is a fitment that looks considered from the side, front three-quarter and rear three-quarter views.
HYPER SILVER REVEALS THE FORM
Hyper Silver changes naturally as light moves across the wheel.
Direct light emphasizes edges and raised surfaces. In shade, the design becomes deeper and more unified. This variation allows the wheel to retain its dimensional character without relying on excessive decoration.
The finish also makes the design easier to read in motion, where the spoke pattern and the outer edge form a clear graphic relationship with the body above them.
BUILT AROUND THE TOYOTA ALPHARD 30 SERIES
A successful wheel package is defined by the complete relationship between diameter, width, spoke shape, brake clearance and the position of the wheel within the bodywork.
For this Toyota Alphard 30 Series, the FACEWHEELS FW1041 setup was selected to support the vehicle's existing proportions rather than replace them with a generic visual formula.
The completed stance feels integrated because the wheel design, finish and sizing all respond to the same body. Nothing appears isolated from the vehicle around it.
