DESIGNED AROUND THE CAR: JAGUAR XEL X760 × FACEWHEELS FW160 19"
The Jaguar XEL brings the compact proportions and athletic character of the XE into a long-wheelbase configuration developed specifically for the Chinese market.
Its low front end, rising shoulder line and extended side profile create a balance between sporting tension and refined presence. The body remains clean and controlled, while the additional wheelbase gives the sedan a more composed visual stance.
For this build, FACEWHEELS FW160 custom forged wheels were specified in Brushed Bronze, with a staggered 19 × 8J front and 19 × 9J rear configuration.
The objective was to introduce greater definition beneath the body while preserving the elegance of the XEL’s original design.
BRITISH RACING GREEN × BRUSHED BRONZE
British Racing Green gives the Jaguar XEL a deep and highly responsive exterior character.
In shade, the bodywork becomes dark and restrained, allowing the sedan’s long profile and black exterior details to form a cohesive composition. Under direct sunlight, the metallic finish reveals richer emerald and blue-green highlights across the hood, doors and rear quarters.
The Brushed Bronze wheels introduce a warm contrast beneath the green body without becoming excessively bright. This relationship gives the build greater depth while remaining closely connected to Jaguar’s distinctly British identity.
The result is elegant, sporting and immediately recognizable.
FACEWHEELS FW160 — OPEN STRUCTURE WITH CONTROLLED DETAIL
The FACEWHEELS FW160 uses an open, angular split-spoke layout that creates a strong connection between the compact center and the outer rim.
Its spoke geometry combines broad structural surfaces with precisely defined openings. This keeps the design visually clear from a distance while revealing additional depth and detail when viewed more closely.
On the Jaguar XEL, the angular movement of the FW160 complements the sharp headlamp graphics, sculpted lower bodywork and rising shoulder line.
The open design also preserves visibility around the brake hardware, reinforcing the performance character of the complete wheel package.
19 × 8J FRONT / 19 × 9J REAR — TAILORED STAGGERED FITMENT
The staggered 19 × 8J front and 19 × 9J rear configuration gives the Jaguar XEL a more deliberate stance while maintaining balanced proportions.
At the front, the 8J width keeps the steering axle visually precise and controlled. At the rear, the wider 9J specification adds weight beneath the extended body and strengthens the car’s rear three-quarter presence.
The 19-inch diameter fills the arches without overwhelming the XEL’s profile. It preserves sufficient tire sidewall to keep the wheel package visually connected to the body rather than making diameter the dominant feature.
This is a fitment developed around the architecture of the car, with front and rear dimensions selected to support both proportion and stance.
BRUSHED BRONZE REVEALS THE FORM
Brushed Bronze allows the structure of the FW160 to remain visible across changing lighting conditions.
The brushed surface catches light along the spoke faces, while the recessed areas become deeper and warmer. This variation emphasizes the transitions between the center, split-spoke sections and outer rim.
Against British Racing Green, the finish creates a refined metallic contrast. The bronze responds warmly in direct sunlight and becomes more restrained in shade, mirroring the changing character of the exterior paint.
The combination avoids excessive brightness while giving the wheel design a clear and individual presence.

A successful wheel package depends on the complete relationship between diameter, width, spoke geometry, finish and the position of the wheel within the bodywork.
For this Jaguar XEL, the FACEWHEELS FW160 setup was selected to develop the vehicle’s existing proportions rather than replace them with a generic visual formula.
The open split-spoke structure adds technical definition, the staggered fitment supports the long-wheelbase profile and Brushed Bronze provides a measured contrast against the British Racing Green exterior.
