DESIGNED AROUND THE CAR: AUDI RS6 AVANT C8 × FACEWHEELS FW2024 22"
The Audi RS6 Avant C8 is defined by the long roof and everyday utility of an estate combined with the width and aggression of an RS performance model.
For this build, FACEWHEELS FW2024 two-piece custom forged wheels were specified with a Brushed Transparent Blue rim and Gloss Black center in a 22 × 10.5J fitment.
The objective was not to overwhelm the original design. It was to give the vehicle a clearer stance, stronger wheel-to-body proportion and a finish that feels intentional from every viewing angle.
MYTHOS BLACK METALLIC × BRUSHED TRANSPARENT BLUE × GLOSS BLACK
The relationship between the Mythos Black Metallic bodywork and the Brushed Transparent Blue rim with Gloss Black center establishes the visual direction of the complete build.
The transparent blue rim forms an electric-blue outline around the Gloss Black center and connects directly with the factory blue ceramic brake calipers and the blue details throughout the customized exterior.
Under the city lights, the Mythos Black Metallic paint and Gloss Black wheel centers form a deep, unified base. The transparent blue outer rims remain visible from a distance, giving the car a precise color boundary without overpowering its wide-body proportions.
FACEWHEELS FW2024 — SCULPTED FOR DEFINITION
The FACEWHEELS FW2024 uses a detailed two-piece mesh center framed by a separately finished outer rim.
That geometry gives the wheel a clear identity at a distance and more detail at close range. The design remains open enough to preserve depth around the brakes, while its transitions create a strong connection between the center and the outer rim.
Rather than acting as a separate decorative element, the wheel introduces structure beneath the body and gives the lower half of the vehicle a more deliberate technical character. Exposed assembly hardware reinforces the engineered character of the two-piece construction.
22 × 10.5J — PROPORTION WITH PURPOSE
The square 22 × 10.5J configuration gives the RS6 the stance and wheel volume required by its wide arches while maintaining uniformity front to rear.
Diameter and width work together here. The wheel fills the arch with the correct visual scale, while the tire remains an active part of the composition instead of disappearing beneath an oversized rim.
The result is a fitment that looks considered from the side, front three-quarter and rear three-quarter views.
TWO FINISHES, TWO DISTINCT FUNCTIONS
The Brushed Transparent Blue rim and Gloss Black center respond differently as light moves across the wheel.
Direct light reveals the color and directional texture of the transparent blue outer rim. The Gloss Black center stays visually connected to the body, allowing the spokes to appear sharper as highlights trace their edges.
This separation also makes the design easier to read in motion. The blue circumference creates a clean rotating outline, while the black mesh center maintains visual depth around the ceramic brakes.
BUILT AROUND THE AUDI RS6 AVANT C8
A successful wheel package is defined by the complete relationship between diameter, width, spoke shape, brake clearance and the position of the wheel within the bodywork.
For this Audi RS6 Avant C8, the FACEWHEELS FW2024 setup was selected to support the vehicle's existing proportions rather than replace them with a generic visual formula.
The completed stance feels integrated because the wheel design, finish and sizing respond to the same customized exterior. The blue rim, blue ceramic calipers and blue carbon details form one repeated accent, while the Mythos Black Metallic body and Gloss Black centers provide the darker foundation.
